This raw green coffee powder is made of 100% coffee beans. The beans go through a slow dehydration process in an industrial drying machine not surpassing 47° C to guarantee the content of the nutrients and to comply with Organic Regulations. Due to the slow drying process the color becomes light and pale, then the product is grinded.
The color of the Ecoandino powder, due to the organic natural slow process of dehydration, is a very light, pale green. The taste is very light, like flour, with a hint of hay. Do not expect the regular ground toasted coffee smell. The product is not sweet. This product is a powder, it is not an instant drink mix, it will require stirring to mix it.
During the process to produce Ecoandino, no anticaking agent (i.e. Ecoandino does not use silicon dioxide) is used. In the product there may be naturally occurring clumping due to the standing or resting position of the product in the bag, although it is easy to separate by stirring.
